This is a 1 Falus copper coin minted during the reign of Shams-ud-Din Ibrahim Shah Sharqi, the third Sultan of the Jaunpur Sultanate, between AD 1402 and AD 1440.

The obverse of the coin bears the Arabic inscription “خليفه ابو الفتح” (Caliph, Father of Victory), representing the ruler’s title. The reverse features the Arabic text “ابراهيم شاه” (Ibrahim Shah), denoting the ruler’s name, along with the title “سلطاني” (Sultan).

The Jaunpur Sultanate, located in north-central India, declared independence from the Delhi Sultanate in AD 1394. Under Ibrahim Shah’s 38-year rule, Jaunpur became renowned as a centre of scholarship and for its remarkable architectural achievements.

章普爾蘇丹國位於印度中北部,於公元1394年脫離德里蘇丹國自立。章普爾在易卜拉欣長達38年的統治之下,以學術重鎮和傑出的建築設計而聞名。
